I wanted a spot on my standing desk to put misc office supply stuff without it being on the work top. This tray is a great size, and fits securely to the monitor pole. Its easily adjustable, and also holds my phone nicely, either landscape or portrait. the front slot for the phone has 3 slots in it that you can run a power cord through if you wanted to.Overall a really nice affordable solution. I actually ordered a couple more for my other office and one of my employees.

Bought this after I purchased and assembled the monitor mount. To install, I had dis-assemble the monitor mount. I recommend to purchase this item when you purchase the monitor mount.

I was able to easily add this to my monitor mount and now have a place on my small desk to place some pens and other small items. Helps me keep smaller items readily available.
